Final Exam Review Problems

You will take your final exam for this course in SC 1206 on
  • Tuesday, December 14, from 12 pm - 2 pm, or
  • Saturday, December 18, from 9 am - 11 am.
The final exam will be cumulative, although the material not covered on previous exams (everything after Chapter 3) will make up approximately 50% of the final exam.  We covered Sections 1.1-1.5, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.6, 4.1-4.2, and 6.1-6.3, as well as a few supplements like linear programming (Sections 9.2-9.3 in the notes posted on OAK).

As you study for the final exam, I encourage you to look over the following problems:
  • Material not covered on previous exams:
    • Section 4.1 (6bd, 11a, 17a)
    • Section 4.2 (2c, 5, 10)
    • Section 6.1 (1al, 16)
    • Section 6.2 (1b, 2d, 4)
    • Section 6.3 (1d, 2d, 8d, 10, 21, 22)
    • Section 9.2 from Linear Programming Notes on OAK (1, 7, 8, 15)
    • Section 9.3 from Linear Programming Notes on OAK (9, 11, 12)
  • Midterm Exam 1
  • Midterm Exam 2
  • Review Questions from the last day of class
  • Questions from old problem sets
If you are looking for even more review problems, the following problems from Chapter Tests in the book would be good ones to try:
